MINI LESSON PLAN


Topic    : Experience
Class      : VIII4
School    : SMP Negeri 12 Kendari

Pre-activity
v  Teacher enter the classroom with the sweetest smile and be remain before enter the class, check your look first it is nice or yet in order to students have a first good impression. Then, take the books or bag that your bring on the table neatly. After that, say a friendly greetings according to greeting of Islam as well as "Assalamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh, my beloved students."At the time of greeting give your sweetest smile again because students will feel that you are kind and friendly so that they feel comfortable and enjoyable the class. And then, Asking how they feel that day by way  "how are you today", "how’s your life?". When you asking to them, they will be feel ready to follow your class

v  Teacher give a brainstorms by way to flashback their experience and they are free to remember everything of experience, either unforgettable, sad, embarassing of experience and others. Teacher writes the auxiliary words to help them arrange the line or teacher prepare the list of auxiliary words that may be used. After that, explain what story starter is and give them example, if necessary. Teacher have set the goal and Inform learners that each of them needs

v  Teacher ask the students to have free
Main activity
Vocabulary and pronunciation
v  Teacher explain the instruction that the students will be done through telling the students that in this activity, students practice asking classmates about their experience. As they move from classmate to classmate, they used the targeted language structures over and over
Listening
v  Students listen the teacher explain that "usually, making story an experience with the opening words to show our feeling. It can be about one thing they did, or one thing that happened of each students in pairs



Writing
v  Teacher asks each of student to write three until five lines to start the story.  After students finish writing, divide them into pairs. Ask them to exchange their story starters.  Tell students to finish their partners’ stories. Teacher also can make the activity more competitive by telling students that there is a prize for the best story
Reading
v   Students tell their stories based on their undeerstanding and, if, teacher want, ask the class to vote on their favorite. The pair who has produced the best story can get a small prize. Teacher could also ask students to hand in their stories and, after teacher read them, teacher can announce the winner of the class

Post Activity
v  Teacher Stop the activity when students have had a chance to talk to most of the people in their group but before everyone has finished; you don’t want them to be bored. Bring the whole class together. This is a good chance to bring students’ attention to the use of question words and opportunity for students to engage further in natural communication
