Physical Response, one of the important thing is teacher roles. As a teacher
not only teach and educate but they should have a great performance. Teacher
should plays active and their instruction must clear. If the teacher can not
plays with good, the student will anxiety and become a passive learner. The student
can not be comprehensible because TPR also known as a comprehension approach.
Teacher just teach with drill, the learner will be do what their teacher say
and also student will instruct their self.
Besides drill, teacher can be role play for example, when the teacher act
like a rabbit. she/ he will starts by saying a word ‘jump’ and demonstrating an
action. Then, the student all do the action. After repeating a few times, it is
possible to extend this by asking the student to repeat the word as they do the
action. When they feel confident with the word, the teacher can ask them to
direct each other. When the teacher plays in the classroom. The thing that
should be attention to the student is environtment. Students often mimic a
teacher’s actions. If the teacher prepares a warm, happy environtment. Students
are more likely to be happy. If the students sense the teacher angry, students
may react negatively. Teachers are responsible for the social behaviour in
their classroom.
Overall, The most important thing in teacher roles are how they love the
materials of teaching, how they love their students and also care of them.
