According to
Suharsimi Arikunto about analysis of Data using qualitative descriptive
analysis technique, revealed that qualitative analysis have to be present on a predicate,
which show to the condition, quality measurement. Based on the previous
calculation, the maximum score that can be got is 85. Thus, the category
based on the interval class can be seen from the table below:

From the table
above, it can be seen that on the range 34-47 tere are 18 respondents from 35
respondents which can be classified to the category “Excellent” amounted 51,43
%, on the range 52-61 thre are 13 respondents from 35 respondents which can be
classified to the category “Very Good” amounted 37,15 %, on the range of 70-79
there are 4 respondents from 35 respondents which can be classified “Good”
amounted 11,43 % and there are no respondents which can be classified to the
category “Fair” and “Poor”.
Thus, based on
the calculation above, it implied that teacher-student material developmentin
improving students’ active engagement in learning process at the second grade
(VIII4) of SMP Negeri 12 Kendari can be classified to the category “Excellent”.
