Course
Overview
Generally, This course is designed to prepare students with the opportunity to
deal with some principles of public
speaking in presentation and
discussion situations relevant to topics of their textbook. The
course aims at helping students develop their vocabulary and
pronunciation skills and overcome pronunciation problems when speaking English.
They will receive a fundamental understanding of pronunciation
which will help them to develop the confidence they need when they want to
communicate in English. The activities of the course are as follow: lecturing, individual
and group presentation and discussion.
b.
Significance
of the Course
The lecture will be discussing the syllabus course and
accommodate every inputs from students to give a possible revision of the
topics that are considered unimportant and include topics that are considered
important. Based on this syllabus, at the meeting pointed out the objectives
scope, procedures lectures, explanations of tasks to be done by the students,
the exam must be followed including the types of problems and how to
solve/answer questions, and resources.

Goal
Upon
the completion of the course, Students will be able to read in the textbook and identificate a new word.

To
be able to reach the goal, the objectives of the course have been formulated. In
the end of the course, students are expected to:

Find minimal 20 new word based on reading passage

Write an essay with using 2000 words
3)
Write an example related the topic
4)
Pronounce the words clearly
