Check the Grammar

1. Subject-verb agreement
Subject verb agreement simply means the subject and verb must agree in number. This means both need to be singular or both need to be plural.
Here are five examples of subject verb agreement (the subject is bolded and the verb underlined): 
1.Incorrect: My dog always growl at the postal carrier.
Correct: My dog always growls at the postal carrier.

2.Incorrect: Sugar and flour is needed for the recipe.
Correct: Sugar and flour are needed for the recipe.

3. Incorrect: Neither gray nor white are my favorite color
Correct: Neither gray nor white is my favorite color

4. Incorrect: Each get a trophy for playing.
Correct: Each gets a trophy for playing.

5. Incorrect: A theory of physics ascertain that a body in motion stays in motion.
Correct: A theory of physics ascertains that a body in motion stays in motion.

2. Parallel structure
Parallel structure means using the same pattern of words to show that two or more words or ideas are of equal importance and to help the reader comprehend what is being written. It is grammatically correct to ensure that phrases, clauses and items on a list after a colon use the correct parallel structure. 
Here are five examples of parallel structure:
1.  Incorrect: Ashley likes to ski, to swim and jumping. 
Correct: Ashley likes to ski, to swim and to jump

2. Incorrect: He can not only drive a car but also a helicopter.
Correct: He can drive not only a car but also a helicopter.

3. Incorrect: Terry likes swimming and to dive.
Correct:  Terry likes swimming and diving.

4. Incorrect: Mary wanted to make sure she made her presentation creatively, effectively and persuaded others.
Correct: Mary wanted to make sure that she made her presentation creatively, effectively and persuasively.
5. Incorrect: Tim was considered to be a good employee because he was never late, he was very motivated and he did not lack initiative.  
Correct: Tim was considered to be a good employee because he was never late, he was very motivated and he was not lacking in initiative
3. Degree of comparison
Degree of comparison is the form of adjective or adverb that state comparing. There are three degree of comparison, are positive, comparative, dan superlative degree.
Here are five examples of degree of comparison:
1. Incorrect: The task are not as difficult as you imagine. (adjective)
Correct: The task is not as difficult as you imagine. (adjective)

2. Incorrect: He drives as carefull as my father in the residential area. (adverb)
Correct: He drives as carefully as my father in the residential area. (adverb)

3. Incorrect: Your heart is cold than ice.
Correct: Your heart is colder than ice.

4. Incorrect: I run the fast in my class.
Correct: I run the fastest in my class.

5. Incorrect: your homework is the same like mine.
Correct: your homework is the sama as mine.

4. Passive verb
Active verb describes a sentence where the subject performs the action stated by the verb. In passive verb sentences, the subject is acted upon by the verb.
Here are five example of passive verb:
1. Incorrect: The savannah is roam by beautiful giraffes.
Correct: The savannah is roamed by beautiful giraffes.

2. Incorrect: The flat tire was change by Sue
Correct: The flat tire was changed by Sue

3. Incorrect: All the reservations will made by the wedding planner.
Correct: All the reservations will be made by the wedding planner.

4. Incorrect: I treated like a baby by my parents .
Correct: I am treated like a baby by my parents .

5. Incorrect: The right side of the bed often slept on by him.
Correct: The right side of the bed is often slept on by him.
